Must-do Fall Activities!
It’s Fall y’all, perhaps the best time of year. The weather is cool, but not cold, the leaves are changing and there’s an undeniable shift in the air, or maybe that’s just the warm scent of pumpkin spice. Either way, there’s no shortage of fall activities to partake in – indoors or out. And don’t get us started on all the Halloween festivities! So, let’s make the most of this perfect weather and the spooky spirit. Here’s our must-do list for this fall season.
Seasonal Activities to do around town:
This season offers so many great events and festivities around town, it can be hard to fit it all in! Some of our favorite activities include hayrides, corn mazes, pumpkin patches, Harvest Festivals, and FOOTBALL! The local college campus’ offer lots of great stuff around homecoming and game days too. Another Fall favorite of ours, apple picking! Pack a picnic for a scenic day at your nearest orchard and take in the crisp air and stunning landscapes while choosing the PERFECT apple. Aberdeen is also home to some of the most gorgeous parks. Find a trail, go for a hike, and explore the views along the city’s rivers and endless rolling hills.
Not much of an outdoorsy person? That’s okay! At Allevity Entertainment, we offer a wide variety of indoor activities and fun for the whole family. Take a spin on the bumper cars or test your skills on the climbing wall. Get the whole family involved with a game of laser tag, or duck and dive through the Ballocity arena! There’s also TONS of arcade games for all ages, from old-school classics to new releases. It’s the perfect place to create unforgettable moments with endless fun for the whole family this fall.
Things to do at home:
Fall can be a great time to enjoy what you have right at home. We like to get cozy in the backyard with some s’mores, a bonfire, and hot cocoa. Creating a cocoa bar and s’mores board (think charcuterie board but with sweets) with different fixings, toppings and flavors makes for a great family night in. Add some Halloween movies in the mix, bake a pumpkin or apple pie, crave pumpkins, or do some yard work! Raking all the fallen leaves into a giant pile just to JUMP into it is a memory your kids will remember for years to come.

Not only is it the Fall season, its SPOOKY season! If you have kids, or if you’re just a diehard Halloween fan, there’s no shortage of holiday fun. Decorating the house can be a frighteningly fun project to add to your fall activities. Turn your home into a haunted house or visit one in town! Most of the community will hop on the spooky train beginning of October, so check local business listings for upcoming Halloween attractions, specials, and parties to add to your fall agenda.
Looking for a family-friendly fright? Scare your friends and family while you chase, dodge, and hide in Allevity’s Haunted Laser Tag Arena, available through October. We also host our very own family fun Halloween party every year, complete with trick-or-treating around the facility! We have a special package available JUST for the event. Guests can enjoy 30-minutes of unlimited attractions, free access to the Ballocity Children’s Playground, Climbing Wall and so much more.
